Here are two similar cards showcasing the Northern Frost Sizzlits Decorative Strip Die and Snow Burst Textured Embossing Folder. I love how delicate and intricate these snowflakes are and I’ve used them everywhere.

There are lots of options once you run your card stock through the Big Shot Machine with the Snow Burst Textured Embossing Folder. You can punch out shapes, use as a card front, use in strips or squares, or even run it through the Big Shot again to Die-Cut some shapes. Super versatile!

The Northern Frost Decorative Strip Die I’ve also used with the Silver Glimmer Paper which I have to say looks AMAZING!!!! I’ve showcased them on a 3-D project which I have yet to post. I will soon:)

I love working with Marina Mist during this season especially as it reminds me of a frosty winter sky. Here it’s simply paired with Whisper White Card Stock.  To adhere the snowflakes I find the 2-Way Glue Pen works best. For the card on the left I’ve glued them to the Snow Burst background card stock randomly like they’re falling from the sky. I punched the Silver Glimmer Paper using the Ornament Punch and affixed using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I stamped ‘Snow Much Fun’ in Marina Mist Classic Ink from the Merry Winter Stamp Set, punched it out using 1″ Cirlce Punch then sponged the edges in Marina Mist Ink. I used Dimensionals again to it layer on top of the Ornament.

Northern Frost and Snow Burst Handmade CardsFor the card on the right I took Whisper White Card Stock cut to 3-1/2″ x 3-1/2″ and sponged Marina Mist Ink using a stencil I made. To create the stencil I used the Lattice Bigz Die. The ornament is punched out of embossed Whisper White Card Stock from the Snow Burst Folder and then layered the same way as the first card. When I made this card I was thinking the Lattice is like a stained glass window with snowflakes falling in front of it.

Thanks for stopping by and have a sparkly day!
