I was going to a baby shower for a very close friend of mine so it was time to design a new card. I think this card is beautiful and honestly it’s quite easy to recreate. I love the sentiment on the front because I truly feel we need to cherish those small moments like watching your teeny baby napping and relishing in the peacefulness of it. Their little fingers and little toes. When I hold a newborn now they’re just so small and light I feel as if they could float away from my arms. I wanted this card to be simple, sparkly and modern. Directions to make it below.

White Baby Shower Card

Stampin’ Up! Supplies:

  • Whisper White Card Stock
  • Metallic Silver Ink 132142
  • Coastal Cabana Ink # 131175
  • Dazzling Diamonds Stampin Glitter # 133751
  • 2 Way Glue Pen # 100425
  • Baby Prints Stamp Set

To create this glittery border around the front of the card I drew a straight line around the edges with the 2 way Glue Pen and then sprinkled on the glitter. One side of the card at a time. Then I stamped the foot print stamp in Silver Ink. If you don’t have silver ink you could heat emboss it in silver. Then ‘Cherish the Moments’ Stamp in Coastal Cabana under the footprints. I chose Coastal Cabana because this shade of blue/green is colorful but at the same time can be for a boy or girl.

Baby Shower Card & EnvelopeInside I used 2 stamps from 2 fabulous retired stamp sets saying Congratulations and God Bless You, however you can use anything you suitable for you inside. I also stamped 1 of the hand prints on an inside corner and again on the envelope corners (pictured above).

I wish the photos turned out better but oh well. Thanks so much for stopping by and have a wonderful day!!
